The next APLAR, 20th Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology Congress will be held from 6-9 September 2018 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. APLAR 2018 will provide both a forum for exchange on cutting-edge scientific and clinical information. The congress will be accessible and attractive to a like-minded audience of predominantly Asia Pacific attendees that are seeking to network with their peers, and navigate the various challenges facing them in further refining the health outcomes for patients facing issues with rheumatological conditions across the region.
The congress will facilitate interactions among physicians, researchers, scientists, clinicians and other health professionals from the Asia Pacific region, and around the world. With growing membership of the national rheumatology associations that are members to APLAR, we believe that the Kaohsiung congress will be a well-attended, and pivotal meeting for furthering knowledge on rheumatology in 2018.
The APLAR 2018 Congress theme will be reflected through the scientific program in a series of high-profile plenary presentations, concurrent sessions, pre-congress workshops and poster presentations. We are requesting also, as an extension of the scientific program, for your support to work with us in developing and implementing, a high-profile industry program that showcases the important role that pharmaceutical, medical device and health services support organisations play in the continued enhancement of knowledge and therapeutic outcomes in rheumatology.
New developments in terms of the offering to industry for APLAR 2018 Kaohsiung include a broadening of the industry symposia schedule, pre-congress workshops, digital engagement platforms and other new ways to engage our audience. We encourage you to review our prospectus and start the conversation on how we can partner to improve and promote the APLAR 2018 congress outcomes. We look forward to welcoming you to Kaohsiung this September.
